Job Description:
We are seeking a Material Transfer Technician to manage and oversee the proper transfer, organization, and storage of all media files at TPP. You will be responsible for ensuring that all footage is accurately transferred, structured, and accessible, maintaining an organized server and Google Drive system. Your attention to detail and ability to enforce file management protocols will be essential in streamlining post-production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Transfer & File Management:
- Ensure all footage is correctly transferred, verified, and stored in designated locations.
- Maintain strict file naming procedures and folder structures.
- Regularly audit and update the server and Google Drive for optimal organization.
- Data Integrity & Workflow Optimization:
- Implement quality control measures to prevent data loss or misplacement.
- Organize and manage backups of all media files.
- Work closely with the post-production team to streamline media access and retrieval.
- Technical Coordination & Support:
- Troubleshoot file transfer issues and storage-related challenges.
- Assist the editing and QC teams in locating and accessing required media.
- Maintain hardware and software tools related to file transfer and storage.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of experience in media asset management, post-production, or IT-related roles.
- Strong understanding of file structures, media formats, and digital storage solutions.
- Experience working with servers, Google Drive, and cloud-based storage systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with video production workflows and post-production processes is a plus.
