Job Description

We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Short-Form Video Editor to join our post-production team. This role is dedicated to producing engaging, visually striking, and trend-aware video content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The Short-Form Video Editor will transform raw footage into captivating short-form pieces that grab attention, drive engagement, and align with brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Editing Short-Form Content: Cut and edit raw footage into polished, impactful short-form videos (15–90 seconds).
• Platform Optimization: Tailor edits for different platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn), ensuring correct formats, pacing, and style.
• Creative Storytelling: Craft strong hooks, engaging transitions, and narrative flow to capture audience attention quickly.
• Trend Adaptation: Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, and editing styles, applying them to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure edits reflect brand guidelines, tone, and messaging across all deliverables.
• Collaboration: Work with producers, designers, and the social media team to align creative vision with final output.
• Quality Control: Review and polish final videos to meet technical and creative standards before publishing.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, or related field preferred (not mandatory if experience is strong).
• Experience: 2–4 years of professional editing experience with a strong portfolio of short-form, social-first content.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
• Strong grasp of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling for short-form formats.
• Ability to create engaging captions, text overlays, and dynamic transitions.
• Understanding of aspect ratios, export settings, and technical requirements for different social platforms.
• Motion graphics and light animation skills are a must.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
